Inky's start

Inky, an Australian Riding Pony x Thoroughbred, turned two just a few months ago. But that hasn't stopped his owner,
Anna, from helping him to get the best possible start. For now, that means plenty of handling and groundwork.
When it comes time to put him under saddle, he'll be more than ready.

The bush is a natural setting for horses, but flapping streamers
aren't normally part of it! Here Inky relies on Anna's calmness
and good leadership.

Trails can be narrow, but Inky needs to learn to stay
out of Carlos' space while they walk.

Streamers are definitely not a challenge any longer!

Paying attention is important at any time, even on
a steep track. The same groundwork principles apply.
– and work!
